Make sure the dehumidifier is powered off and unplugged before cleaning. Safety is always the priority.
Hold the handle and gently pull the air filter upward and outward. Remove the grill from the back of the unit as shown.
If there is stubborn dirt or dust, immerse in lukewarm water and rinse a couple of times. Let the air filter dry before re-attaching to the main unit.
Align the tabs on the top and sides of the air filter with the corresponding slots on the back of the unit. Slide the air filter back into place until it clicks securely.
